Yorkshire Countryside Management are approved contractors and advisors to local government as well as many conservation and wildlife organisations. We have and continue to be the main contractors on projects funded by English Nature, N Power, Big Lottery Fund and Local Government. Many of these projects involve Sites of special Scientific Interest. We manage and protect some of the most diverse and richest woodland areas in the East Riding of Yorkshire, (one of which is mentioned in the Doomsday Book).

We are directly involved in Habitat Management, Ecology, Woodland Management and Countryside Access along with Recreation and Visitor Management. We have been heavily involved in creating access to the countryside for disabled users and general public alike. Yorkshire Countryside Management has close links with local colleges and offers valuable work experience to degree students and volunteers. We manage and protect some of the oldest and richest woodlands in the east riding of yorkshire. We also work on projects with the Forest Stewardship Council, and adhere to the UK Woodlands Assurance Standards.

Presently our area of coverage extends from Yorkshire to Cheshire and as far down as Lincoln.
